은혜의 빗방울(2/26/2026)

오늘 아침,

창가에 서서

조용히 유리창을 두드리는

빗소리를 들으며 기도합니다.

봄비처럼 내리시는 성령님,

메마른 땅을 적시듯

굳어버린 우리 마음을 적셔 주소서.

비가 먼지를 씻어내고

흐린 하늘을 맑게 하듯,

우리 입술에 담긴 진리의 말씀이

영혼 깊은 곳까지 스며드는

은혜의 빗방울이 되어,

마음에 스며있는 헛된 생각과

습관처럼 붙어 있는 거짓의 얼룩을

깨끗이 씻어내게 하소서.

“거짓을 따라 살던

옛 사람을 벗어버리고

진리를 따라 사는

새 사람을 입으라.”

(엡 4:22-24)

This morning,

I stand by the window,

listening to the quiet sound of rain

tapping gently against the glass,

and I pray.

Holy Spirit, who falls like the spring rain,

as You soak the thirsty earth,

soften and saturate our hardened hearts.

As rain washes away the dust

and clears the clouded sky,

may the word of truth upon our lips

become drops of grace that sink deep into our souls,

washing away the futile thoughts that linger in our minds

and the stains of falsehood that cling like old habits.

“Put off your old self,

which belongs to your former way of life,

and be renewed in the spirit of your minds;

and put on the new self,

created to be like God

in true righteousness and holiness.”

(Ephesians 4:22–24)
