대가(5/29/2026)

사랑하는 성도님들,

무엇이든 가치 있는 것을 이루기 위해서는

그만큼의 대가를 지불해야 합니다.

예고 없이 밀려오는

감정의 파도에 요동하지 않고

평안과 기쁨을 누릴 수 있는 자는

세상이 감당할 수 없는 사람입니다.  

거친 풍랑이는 바다 위에서

평안이 잠을 주무셨던 예수님,

복음을 위해 옥살이를 하는 중에도

항상 기쁨을 잃지 않았던 사도 바울,

우리도 그러한 삶을 살 수 있도록

힘과 지혜를 주시는 성령님을 의지하면서

오늘도 감정 다스리기 훈련을 이어갑시다.  

“두려워하지 말라

내가 너와 함께 함이니라.”(사 41:10)

Anything truly valuable requires

a price to be paid.

A person who is not easily shaken

by the unexpected waves of emotions,

but is able to remain in peace and joy,

is someone the world cannot overcome.

Jesus slept peacefully even on a stormy sea,

and the Apostle Paul never lost his joy

even while imprisoned for the sake of the gospel.

As we rely on the Holy Spirit,

who gives us strength and wisdom to live such a life,

let us continue today in the training

to govern our emotions well.

“Do not fear, for I am with you.”(Isa. 41:10)
