시선 고정(6/11/2026)

사랑하는 성도님들,

신앙생활은 예수님을 바라보고

그분을 따라 사는 삶입니다.

세상은 우리의 시선을 끌기 위해

온갖 방법들을 동원합니다.

성공, 실패, 염려, 욕심, 두려움 등

수많은 소리들이

우리의 마음 문을

두드립니다.

우리 시선이

예수님으로부터 벗어날 때

우리 마음은 갈대 같이

흔들리기 시작합니다.

거친 풍랑 속에서도 두려워하지 않고

앞으로 나갈 수 있는 비결은

우리 마음의 시선을

예수님께 고정시키는 것입니다.

말씀을 묵상하며 살아갈 때

예수님께 우리 마음의 시선이

고정되어집니다.

예수님이 말씀이시기 때문입니다.  

“마음을 잘 지킴으로

하나님을 보게 하소서.”

(마 5:8)

Dear beloved brothers and sisters,

The Christian life is a life of fixing our eyes

on Jesus and following Him.

The world uses countless ways to capture our attention.

Success and failure, worries and desires,

fears and anxieties

—many voices continually knock

at the door of our hearts.

When our eyes turn away from Jesus,

our hearts begin to waver

like reeds swaying in the wind.

The secret to moving forward without fear,

even in the midst of raging storms,

is to keep the eyes of our hearts fixed on Jesus.

As we live by meditating on God's Word,

the eyes of our hearts become firmly fixed on Him,

because Jesus is the Word made flesh.

"By guarding my hearts well,

may I see God."(Matt 5:8)
