싸움의 기술(7/10/2026)

사랑하는 성도님들,

악에게 마음을 내어주지 않고,

선으로 악을 잘 이기고 계시지요?

나를 아프게 한 악을 똑같은 악으로

되갚아주는 것이 아니라,

오히려 더 깊은 사랑과 선함으로

따스하게 반응하는 것.

그리하여 내게 찾아온 어둠이

더 이상 힘을 쓰지 못하게 흩어버리고,

우리 삶의 자리에 하나님의 선하심이

몽글몽글 피어나게 하는 것.

그것이 하나님께서 우리에게 기대하시는

아름다운 삶의 모습입니다.

세상이 점점 어두워져 간다고 슬퍼하기보다,

오늘 내가 건넨 다정한 말 한마디와

작은 선한 행동 하나를 통해

우리 주변의 어두운 모퉁이를

조금씩 환하게 밝혀갈 수 있다면

하나님 아버지께서 얼마나 기뻐하실까요?

어둠을 이기는 유일한 길은

더 큰 빛이 되는 것뿐입니다.

“악에게 지지 말고

선으로 악을 이기라” (로마서 12:21)

Are you doing well

in refusing to give your hearts

over to evil and overcoming evil with good?

Rather than repaying the evil

that has wounded us with the same evil,

we are called to respond with

even deeper love and kindness.

In doing so,

the darkness that has come into our lives

loses its power and is scattered,

and God's goodness begins to

blossom gently in our lives.

This is the beautiful way of living

that God desires for us.

Instead of grieving over a world

that seems to be growing darker,

imagine how pleased our Heavenly Father would be

if, through one kind word

and one small act of goodness,

we could brighten the dark corners

around us little by little.

The only way to overcome darkness is

to become a greater light.

“Do not be overcome by evil,

but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:21)
