사랑하는 성도님들,

인생의 바다에 거센 폭풍이 밀려와도

닻을 내린 배처럼 흔들리지 않을

준비가 되셨나요?

예상치 못한 축복의 비가 쏟아질 때에도

그 복에 취하지 않고, 그 복을 주신

하나님의 선하심과 위대하심을 드러낼

준비가 되셨나요?

한 주간 ,

“너희가 나를 사랑하면

나의 계명을 지키리라."라는

말씀을 아침 이슬처럼 마음에 머금고,

밤하늘의 별빛처럼 가슴에 새기며

주야로 읊조려 보세요.

그러면 성령께서 우리 안에 말씀을 향한

거룩한 갈망을 일으키시고,

순종하고 싶은 마음을 더욱 깊게 하실거에요.

한 말씀, 한 말씀 묵상하며 살아갈 때

우리의 뿌리는 깊어지고,

믿음은 더욱 단단해져서,

폭풍 앞에서는 흔들리지 않는 나무처럼,

축복 앞에서는 더욱 낮아지는 들꽃처럼,

겉은 부드러우나 속은 강한

외유내강의 사람으로 빚어져 갈거에요.

“나를 사랑하면 나의 계명대로 살아가라.”(요 14:15)

Are you prepared to remain unshaken,

like a ship firmly anchored,

even when fierce storms sweep across the sea of life?

Are you ready,

when unexpected showers of blessing fall upon you,

not to become captivated by the blessings themselves,

but to reveal the goodness and greatness of the God

who graciously gave them?

Throughout this week,

meditate day and night on these words:

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”

Hold them in your heart

like the morning dew upon the grass,

and treasure them in your soul

like the stars shining in the night sky.

As you do, the Holy Spirit will awaken within you

a holy longing for God's Word and deepen your desire

to walk in obedience to Him.

As you meditate on His Word, one verse at a time,

your roots will grow deeper,

and your faith will become stronger.

You will become like a tree that stands firm

in the midst of a storm,

and like a wildflower that bows

even lower when blessed by abundant rain.

In this way, God will shape you into a person

who is gentle on the outside yet strong on the inside.

“If you love Me,

live according to My commandments.” (John 14:15)
