주님의 입꼬리(7/21/2026)

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

예수님은

지극히 작은 자에게 한 것이

곧 그분께 한 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다.

그리고,

지극히 작은 자였던 우리에게

가장 큰 친절을 베풀어 주셨습니다.

아무런 보답도 해드릴 수 없는 우리를 위해,

당신의 소중한 생명까지도

망설임 없이 내어주셨습니다.

내가 정성을 다해 도움을 건네도,

나에게 작은 보답조차 돌려줄 수 없는

연약한 사람이 있나요?

오늘 하루,

나를 위해 생명을 내어주신 주님을 대하듯

그분에게 다정한 말을 건네고,

조건 없는 따스한 손을 내밀어 봅시다.

세상은 받은 만큼 돌려주는 계산에 익숙하지만,

아무런 대가 없이 내어주는 사랑이야말로

우리가 받은 복음을 세상에서

가장 아름답게 증명하는 삶입니다.

우리가 베푼 작은 친절이

주님의 입꼬리를 올라가게 합니다.

“나는 복음에 합당한 삶을

사는 사람입니다." (빌 1:27)

Jesus said that whatever we do

for the least of these, we do for Him.

And to us, who were once the least,

He showed the greatest kindness.

For those who could never repay Him,

He willingly gave His precious life

without hesitation.

Is there someone in your life

who is weak, vulnerable,

and unable to repay

even your smallest act of kindness?

Today, let us speak to that personas

though we were speaking to the Lord

who gave His life for us.

Let us offer gentle words, a warm smile,

and a helping hand with no expectation

of anything in return.

The world is accustomed to giving only

when something is received in return.

But love that gives freely,

without expecting repayment,

is one of the most beautiful ways to

demonstrate the gospel we have received.

May every small act of kindness we offer today

bring a smile to our Lord's face.

"I am living a life worthy of the gospel." 

(Philippians 1:27)
