참 좋은 친구(6/29/2026)

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

소중한 것을 아까움 없이 나누어 주고,

나의 눈물겨운 일들을

마치 자기 일처럼 여겨주는 친구.

내가 기뻐할 때 나보다 더 크게 웃어주고,

내가 힘들어 울먹일 때 소리 없이

곁에 앉아 함께 울어주는 친구.

나의 부족함을 누구보다 잘 알고 있으면서도

허물 많은 모습 그대로 나를 받아주고,

동시에

하나님의 아름다운 자녀가 되기를 바라며

오늘도 나를 위해 하나님께 기도하는 친구.

이렇게 좋은 친구가 있습니까?

언제나 보고 싶고,

함께 하면 시간 가는 줄 모르며,

돌아서서 헤어지면 다시 그리워지는 친구.

내 삶에 그런 친구가 한 명만 더 있다면

참 좋겠다고 소망하는 우리에게,

주님은 오늘 부드러운 음성으로

인생의 가장 위대한 비밀을 건네십니다.

그런 완벽한 친구가 내 앞에 나타나 주기를

외롭게 기다리지만 말고,

오늘 내가 먼저,

누군가에게 그토록 그리웠던

바로 '그 친구'가 되어주는 것입니다.

우리가 먼저 사랑의 손을 내밀 때,

우리는 나를 친구라 불러주신

예수님의 발자취를 따르게 됩니다.

“나는 사랑을 실천하며 사는

예수님의 친구입니다”

(요 15:14)

A true friend is someone who shares

generously without hesitation,

and who treats your deepest tears

as though they were their own.

A true friend rejoices even more than you

when you are happy,

and when your heart is breaking,

quietly sits beside you,sharing your sorrow

without saying a word.

A true friend knows your weaknesses

better than anyone else,

yet accepts you just as you are.

At the same time,

they long for you to become God's beautiful child

and faithfully lift you up in prayer every day.

Do you have such a friend?

Someone you always look forward to seeing,

someone with whom time seems to fly,

and after saying goodbye,

you already miss them again.

Many of us quietly wish,

"If only I had just one more friend like that!"

To those hearts,

our Lord gently reveals

one of life's greatest secrets.

Instead of waiting for that perfect friend to appear,

be the friend today

that someone else has been longing for.

When we take the first step

and extend the hand of love,

we walk in the footsteps of Jesus,

the One who called us His friends.

"You are My friends

if you do what I command you."

(John 15:14)
