찾아오시는 하나님(6/13/2026)

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

지난 한 주간, 마음을 잘 지키셨나요?

우리가 보이지 않는 마음을 지키기 위해

부단히 애쓰는 것은,

마음이 맑아질 때 비로소

우리 일상에 찾아오시는 하나님을

선명히 마주할 수 있기 때문입니다.

이 거룩한 파수의 훈련은

주님의 얼굴을 직접 마주하는 그날까지,

하늘의 뜻을 분별하는 일이

숨을 쉬듯 자연스러워질 때까지

우리가 멈추지 않고 걸어야 할

아름다운 여정입니다.

마음 방으로 통하는 빛의 입구인 눈과 귀가

세상의 탁한 말과 어두운 생각에

오염되지 않도록 조심히 가꾸십시오.

그리고 내 마음의 숨은 모양을

고스란히 비추어내는 우리의 입술이

오직 정결하고 선한 하늘의 언어만을

담아내게 하십시오.

내가 읊조린 그 거룩한 고백들이

다시 나의 귀를 거쳐 마음으로 흘러들어 갈 때,

말씀은 비누처럼 우리의 깊은 내면을

구석구석 씻어내 줄 것입니다.

우리가 마음의 거울을

깨끗이 닦아 지켜내는 그 크기만큼,

우리는 고요히 다가오시는 하나님을

더 선명하게 보게 될 것입니다.

“마음을 잘지킴으로

하나님을 보게 하소서."

(마 5:8)

Have you guarded your hearts well over the past week?

We labor diligently to watch over our unseen hearts

because only when our hearts are made pure

can we clearly recognize the presence of God

who comes into our ordinary days.

This sacred practice of keeping watch is

a beautiful journey

we must continue until the day

we behold our Lord face to face

—until discerning the will of heaven

becomes as natural as breathing.

Guard carefully the gateways of your heart

—your eyes and ears—

so that they may not be polluted

by the world's tainted words and dark thoughts.

And let your lips,

which reveal the hidden condition of your heart,

speak only what is pure

and filled with the language of heaven.

As those holy confessions pass once more

through your ears and settle deep within your heart,

the Word of God will cleanse

the innermost parts of your soul like soap,

washing them thoroughly.

To the extent that we faithfully polish

and protect the mirror of our hearts,

we will see more clearly the God

who gently draws near to us.

"By guarding my heart,may I behold God."

(Matthew 5:8)
