낯선 초대장(3/11/2026)

때로 삶은 이유 없는 돌을 던지고

부당한 대우라는 차가운 사슬로

우리의 발을 묶습니다.

그 억울함의 무게에 눌려

상황을 원망하고 사람을 향해 소리치면,

마음은 어두운 수렁 속으로

자꾸만 가라앉고 맙니다.

하지만 기억하세요.

성도에게 억울함이란,

축복의 문을 여는 낯선 초대장임을.

빌립보의 깊은 감옥,

찢긴 상처와 차가운 착고 속에서도

바울과 실라는 절망 대신에

하늘의 선율을 택했습니다.

그들의 입술에서 흘러나온 찬양의 향기가

지옥 같던 지하 감옥을

천국의 앞마당으로 바꾸어 놓았고,

단단히 잠겼던 옥문을 흔들어

축복의 길을 열었습니다.

이제,

그 낯선 초대장을 다시 들여다 보세요.

입술의 꼬리가 살포시 올라가고,

원망과 불평 대신에

감사와 찬양이 흘러나올거에요.

"사랑으로 말하고 행함으로,

하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 자가

되게 하소서."

(엡 5:2,10)

Sometimes

life throws stones without reason

and binds our feet with the cold chains

of unjust treatment.

Crushed by the weight of injustice,

when we blame our circumstances

and cry out against people,

our hearts slowly sink into a dark swamp.

But remember this:

For believers,

injustice is a strange invitation

that opens the door to blessing.

In the deep prison of Philippi,

even with torn wounds and cold stocks

around their feet,

Paul and Silas chose the melody of heaven

instead of despair.

The fragrance of praise flowing from their lips

turned that hell-like dungeon

into the front yard of heaven,

and shook the tightly locked doors,

opening the path of blessing.

Now,

look again at that strange invitation.

The corners of your lips will gently rise,

and instead of resentment and complaint,

gratitude and praise will begin to flow.

“May we speak in love and act in love,

becoming those who please God.”

(Ephesians 5:2,10)
