사랑하는 성도님들,

어제 마음 목욕을 잘 하셨나요?

마음을 청결하게 하기 위해서는

이미 묻어 있는 마음의 떼를

씻는 것뿐 아니라,

더러운 것들이 다시 들어오지 못하도록

마음의 문을 잘 지키는 것 또한 중요합니다.

눈과 귀는 마음의 입구입니다.

우리가 보고 듣는 것이

우리 마음으로 들어가기 때문입니다.

깨끗한 하나님의 말씀을

눈 앞에 두고,

순결한 하나님의 말씀에

귀를 기울이며 하루를 살아봅시다.

성문을 지키는 보초병처럼

마음 문을 잘 지킴으로

하나님이 좀 더 선명히 보여지는

은혜가 있기를 축복합니다.  

“주님,

우리 마음의 문을 잘 지키게 하셔서,

맑아진 마음의 눈으로

하나님을 보게 하소서.

마음이 청결한 자가

하나님을 본다 하신 그 약속이

오늘 우리 삶 가운데 이루어지게 하소서.”

“마음을 잘 지킴으로

하나님을 보게 하소서”(마 5:8)

Did you give your hearts

a good cleansing yesterday?

In order to keep our hearts pure,

it is important not only to wash away

the grime that has already settled within them,

but also to guard the doors of our hearts

so that unclean things do not enter again.

Our eyes and ears are the gateways to the heart,

for what we see and hear finds its way

into our inner being.

Let us place the pure Word of God before our eyes

and live this day with our ears

attentive to His holy and undefiled voice.

Like sentries standing watch at the city gates,

may we diligently guard the doorway of our hearts,

and through doing so, may we experience

the grace of seeing God more clearly.

"Lord,

help us to guard the doors of our hearts well,

so that with eyes made clear and pure,

we may behold You.

May your promisee—

that the pure in heart shall see God—

be fulfilled in our lives today.Amen."
