사랑이 복음이다 Love is the Gospel

사랑하는 성도님들,

오늘 아침도 성령님을 부르며

하루의 문을 엽니다.  

“굿모닝, 성령님!”

배우자, 자녀, 이웃, 직장 동료와 같이

늘 우리 주변에 있는 사람들은

내가 예수님을 닮아가는 과정에서

반드시 넘어가야 하는 훈련 코스입니다.

아무런 조건 없이, 때로는

그들이 나를 힘들게 할지라도

인자하신 예수님께서 나를 대하듯이

그들을 대하기 위해서는

반드시 성령님의 도움이 필요합니다.

오늘,

주변 사람들을 위해 기도한 후에

먼저 다가가

진심을 다해

사랑을 표현해 봅시다.

주님의 그 크신 인자하심을 따라,

우리 곁의 사람들에게

따스한 사랑의 온기를 전달하는

복된 하루가 되기를 기도합니다.

사랑이 복음입니다.

“하나님은 인자하시고

엄격하신 분입니다.”

(롬 11:22)

This morning, once again,

we open the door to a new day

by calling upon the Holy Spirit.

“Good morning, Holy Spirit!”

The people who are always around us—

our spouses, children, neighbors, and coworkers—

are an essential part of the training

through which we grow to become more like Jesus.

To treat them with unconditional love,

even when they make life difficult for us,

and to show them the same kindness

that Jesus shows us,

we desperately need the help of the Holy Spirit.

Today, after praying for those around us,

let us take the first step toward them

and sincerely express our love.

Following the Lord’s great kindness,

may we have a blessed day,

sharing the warmth of His love

with those beside us.

Love is the gospel.

“God is both kind and severe.”

(Romans 11:22)
