사랑하는 성도님들,

주님께서 오실 날과 시간을

아는 사람이 없기 때문에

오늘이 그 날일 수 있다는 생각으로

매일을 살아가는 사람이

지혜로운 자입니다.

주님은 분명히 말씀하셨습니다.

“깨어 있으라!”

나를 죽기까지 사랑하시는

주님의 입에서 나온

엄중한 경고의 말씀입니다.

오늘 밤중에

우리 신랑 되신 예수님께서

공중에 재림하신다면

오늘 무엇을 하며 살아야 할까요?

맡겨 주신 일을 성실히 하면서,

주변 사람들을 주님을 대하듯

사랑하며 살아야 합니다.

성실함과 사랑이

“하나님은 인자하시고

엄격하신 분이십니다.”

(롬 11:22)

The wise person lives each day

with the awareness that today could

be the day of the Lord’s return,

for no one knows the day or the hour.

The Lord has clearly said,

“Keep watch!”

These are solemn words of warning

from the One who loved us unto death.

If Jesus, our Bridegroom, were to return

in the clouds tonight,

how should we live today?

We should faithfully carry out the work

entrusted to us and love those around us

as we would love the Lord Himself.

Faithfulness and love are

how we prepare ourselves

as the bride of Christ.

“God is kind and severe.”(Rom. 11:22)
