아침 이슬처럼 Like the Morning Dew(8/31/2026)

사랑하는 성도님들,

새벽의 정적을 깨고 눈을 뜨는 순간,

“굿모닝, 성령님!”

아침 이슬처럼 다가오시는

성령님과 함께 하루를 엽니다.

"모든 것을 아시고,

모든 것을 하실 수 있는

성령님과 함께

하루를 시작합니다"라는 고백보다

더 깊은 위로와 격려와

힘이 되는 고백이

또 어디 있을까요?

오늘 하루,

성령님을 의지하면서

우리 시선과 귀 기울임,

입술의 고백과 손끝의 온기를

헛된 육신에 내어주지 말고,

하나님의 기쁨과 영광을 위해

기꺼이 의의 도구로 내어드립시다.  

“나는 성령으로 몸의 행실을

죽이며 사는 자입니다.”

(롬 8:13)

As I awaken

and break the stillness of dawn,

I open the day with the Holy Spirit,

who comes to us like the morning dew:

“Good morning, Holy Spirit!”

What confession could bring us

deeper comfort, greater encouragement,

and stronger assurance than this:

“I begin this day with the Holy Spirit,

who knows all things

and is able to do all things”?

Today,

as we rely on the Holy Spirit,

let us not surrender our eyes and ears,

the words of our lips,

or the warmth of our hands

to the futile desires of the flesh.

Instead,

let us gladly offer every part of ourselves

as an instrument of righteousness

for God’s pleasure and glory.

“I put to death the deeds of the body

by the Spirit and lives.”

(Romans 8:13)
