천국과 지옥의 경계(2/21/2026)

사랑하는 성도 여러분,

오늘 당신의 영혼은

어느 곳을 향해 숨 쉬고 있습니까?

하늘의 본향, 그 찬란한 천국을

사모하고 계시는지요.

천국을 간절히 사모하는 이들은

먼 훗날의 약속만을 기다리지 않습니다.

그들은 오늘,

발을 딛고 선 이 척박한 땅 위에서도

이미 도착한 천국의 조각들을

발견하며 살아갑니다.

그러나,

천국을 꿈꾸지 않는 눈은

눈앞에 펼쳐진 천국의 풍경을 외면한 채

지옥의 그림자로 향하기가 쉽습니다.

결국, 천국과 지옥의 경계는

외부의 풍경이 아니라

'나의 선택' 끝에 놓여 있습니다.

거친 상황의 파도 속에서도

미움 대신 사랑을,

날 선 분열의 유혹 앞에서도

묵묵히 하나 됨을 선택하는 이들.

그들의 발걸음이 머무는 곳마다

천국의 문이 소리 없이 열립니다.

"하나님의 부르심을 받아

하나된 우리가

사랑으로 진리를 말하며 함께

그리스도에까지 자라게 하소서."

(엡 4:15).

Where is your soul breathing today?

Toward what horizon does it quietly turn?

Do you long for heaven—

that radiant homeland above?

Those who truly long for heaven

do not merely wait for a distant promise.

Even here and now,

upon this rugged and broken ground,

discover fragments of heaven

already scattered among their days.

But a heart that does not yearn for heaven

can stand before its open beauty

and still turn toward the shadows of hell.

In the end,

the boundary between heaven and hell

is not drawn by outward scenery,

but by the quiet decisions of the heart.

Amid the crashing waves of harsh circumstances,

to choose love instead of hatred;

before the sharp temptation of division,

to steadfastly choose unity—

where such steps are taken,

the gates of heaven open without a sound.

“Having been called by God,

may we who are one

speak the truth in love

and grow together into Christ.”

(Ephesians 4:15)
