행복의 비결 A Secret to Happiness

사랑하는 성도님들

최근에 원 영규 집사님께서

우리 모두에게 예쁜 컵을 하나씩

선물로 주었습니다.

받는 우리도 참 기뻤지만,

가장 기뻤던 사람은 선물을 나눠 주신

원 집사님 자신이 아니었을까 싶습니다.

소소한 행복의 비결입니다.

대가를 바라지 않고

남을 먼저 기쁘게 하는 것입니다.

그 기쁨은 부메랑이 되어

나에게 다시 돌아옵니다.

나로 인해 다른 사람이 기뻐하고,

다른 사람의 기쁨으로 인해

나에게 행복이 밀려옵니다.

오늘 우리 행복하게 살아봅시다.

“서로를 받아 줌으로

하나님께 영광을 돌리게 하소서.”

(롬 15:7)

Recently, Deacon Won Young-kyu gave

each of us a beautiful cup.

We were delighted to receive them,

but I wonder if the happiest person of all

was Deacon Won herself,

as he shared those gifts with us.

Here is a simple secret to everyday happiness:

bringing joy to others

without expecting anything in return.

That joy comes back to us like a boomerang.

Someone smiles because of us,

and their joy fills our hearts with happiness.

Let us share that happiness today.

“May we glorify God

by accepting one another.”

(Romans 15:7)
